Campervan Guinness World Record Attempt
Update:
A good weekend was had by all. There were 135 campers giving €6750. The grounds cost €850, music €250, prize money €1000. Charity recieved €4650 from event. Every one that was there want it to be done again next year for a different charity. They have provisionally booked the grounds for next year so arelooking for helpers for the 3 weekend in April. They all want to know can they book the same weather too! Frank Ryan would like to thank every who came and helped.
Join in setting a Guinness World Record for the maximum number of campervans ever assembled in one place.
Friday to Sunday 16th to 18th April 2010 at the
Limerick Racecourse,
Greenmount,
Patrickswell,
Co. Limerick.
Entry fee per campervan is €50
To show appreciation for supporting this event there will be prizes given out on the Saturday night:
- First prize of €400
- Five prizes of €100 each
- Ten prizes of a ticket to win the fund in the Hat in Hand account.
There will also be music on the Saturday night by Eddie Keogh.
All proceeds raised will be split between the following charities
- Save the African Slum Children Association and
- The Niall Mellon Township Trust
